Is this really good news? 

Elance has always seemed to be full of the cheapskate bonehead clients you blogged about earlier. They're typically paying $5-20/hr. or sub-$500-1000 gigs for misguided projects. Perfect synergy with 3rd world labor pools.

I guess the brightest spin you can put on it is, get-rich-quick  schemers in the overdeveloped world are funding economic development in the developing world.  - Dan Knauss</description>
